Coached two-time first-team All-American and 2007 consensus All-American George Selvie at USF.
Coached No. 15 overall NFL Draft pick and eventual Pro Bowler Jason Pierre-Paul at USF.

While at Forest Hill High School, Kevin Patrick was a standout two-way football player at tight end and defensive end, as well as getting playing time at fullback his senior campaign. An all-around athlete, he earned two letters in track, throwing the shot put and discus.

Selected in the first round of the 1979 NFL Draft, the 8th overall pick, by the St. Louis Cardinals.
